What You'll Do
As an Assistant Project Manager at SEG, you’ll take on meaningful responsibilities right away, including:
Manage multiple small projects (valued up to $3 million) or support a larger team on major efforts.
Learn the full life cycle of project management, including estimating, scheduling, reporting, and compliance.
Drive project controls—track RFIs, changes, safety, performance, and quality control.
💬 Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to keep communication smooth and projects on track.
Support shop drawings and submittals, change orders, scheduling, and contract negotiations.
Solve problems on the fly, support constructability reviews, and learn how to keep projects legally and contractually compliant.
Who You Are
You're curious, analytical, and proactive—ready to learn fast and take initiative in a complex, high-stakes environment. You enjoy solving problems, working with people, and getting things built.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management with 3–5 years of related experience
- Understanding of construction methods, especially commercial and institutional renovation.
Some experience or exposure to estimating and managing self-performed/subcontracted work.
Familiar with construction software tools and strong with spreadsheets and email.
Credentials:
OSHA 30
First Aid / CPR / AED
EIT certification a plus!
Must be a U.S. Citizen to comply with federal contract requirements.

Work Environment:
The role involves working on construction sites, in offices, and traveling to different project locations. Involves exposure to construction site conditions, including weather, noise, and potential hazards.
